Tom Hanks (‘Sully,’ ‘A Hologram for the King’) is developing the World War II drama ‘Greyhound,’ with an eye to starring, says Variety.
‘Get Low’ helmer Aaron Schneider is behind the camera for the story of “a career officer (Hanks) given command of a Navy destroyer — named “Greyhound” — who has to deal with combat enemies and his own self-doubts.”
Hanks penned the script and will serve as producer alongside his partner over at Playtone Pictures, Gary Goetzman.
SULLY is released in Irish cinemas December 2, 2016.
