Navan-native turns drug dealer for new thriller…
Pierce Brosnan, who will next be seen starring in ‘The November Man,’ has signed on to star in producer Aaron Kaufman’s directorial debut, ‘Urge.’
The dramatic thriller, scripted by Kaufman, Jason Zumwalt and Jerry Stahl, is about “a group of friends, who while on holiday at an island destination, take part in a new designer drug that makes them lose their ability to control their urges.”
Deadline has Brosnan playing the creator and gatekeeper of the island’s new drug.
Production is expected to kick off this month in New York with Skip Williamson (‘Underworld’) and Mark Neveldine (‘Crank’) will producing. Financing is coming from Bridgeworks Media Capital, TCI and Tresoro Ventures.
