Long-gesting western horror scores new cast members…
Patrick Wilson (‘Stretch,’ ‘The Conjuring’) and Matthew Fox (‘World War Z,’ ‘Alex Cross’) are set to star opposite Kurt Russell and Richard Jenkins in ultraviolent western actioner ‘Bone Tomahawk,’ says THR.
Marking the feature directorial debut of screenwriter S. Craig Zahler, ‘Bone Tomahawk’ revolves around four men attempting to rescue a group of captives from a band of cannibalistic troglodytes that live beyond the edge of civilization.”
According to the trade, Wilson will play a cowboy whose life is reshaped following an unfortunate accident. Fox will play John Brooder, whose dark inclinations have put him and his polished weapons at the very edge of the western frontier.
Caliber Media’s Dallas Sonnier and Jack Heller will serve as producers, with Wayne Marc Godfrey, Robert Jones and David Gilbery of The Fyzz Facility executive producing.
