Will Arnett returns to voice the Dark Knight…
Heat Vision has exclusively learned that Warner Bros. is fast-tracking a ‘LEGO Movie’ spinoff centred on the scene-stealing Batman.
Chris McKay, who served as animation supervisor on ‘LEGO Movie’ and was attached to direct the sequel, will take the director’s chair for the spinoff, with Seth Grahame-Smith (‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter,’ ‘Dark Shadows’) providing the script.
Will Arnett (‘Arrested Development’) will return to voice the Caped Crusader, with Roy Lee, Dan Lin, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller producing.
The next LEGO feature will be ‘Ninjago,’ due to arrive late 2016. According to the trade, the studio is aiming for a 2017 release for ‘LEGO Batman.’
