Best-selling survival horror title headed to the big screen…
The suits over at Warner Bros. have scored the rights to Scott Cawthon’s ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ with plans to adapt the hit videogame to the big screen, according to THR.
Released last year, the horror game sees you playing a night guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, family pizza place. Your goal is survive a night locked inside, knowing that a furry death machine might jump out of the dark at any moment. The game was a hit with critics and spawned two sequels.
Roy Lee from Vertigo Entertainment and Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg of KatzSmith Productions will produce the film, with Adam Stone and Jay Ireland serving as executive producers.
