Love the great Movies but hate the crap ones
Genres I like
Romance, Comedy, Sci-Fi, Action, Horror, Irish, Childrens, All Movies
Benedit Cumberbatch stole the show for me in this one, great actor and fantastic performance.
This Star Trek was really enjoyable but for me something was lacking.
I believe its the problem with a lot of films now that are based prior to many old classic films, they all in their own way have to tie through to the originals. I loved the 2009 JJ remake and this one does not let you down. It will be intersting to see where we go from here in the next instalment.
Watch every good space movie that was made,
take elements from them all re package it,
get a actor or 2,
throw a script together,
you've guessed it we shall call that Oblivion.
Just not that great lets be honest, but a touch ebjoyable all the same.
Typical disney movie exactly what it says on the cover.
Not possibly the best film you are likely to see lets be honest here.
In saying that the kids have requested not to go to the cinema for a while after seeing this, so in my eyes this is a win win screening, possibly want for it on dvd.
Knocked up follow up.
Not a great fan of knocked up had its moments for all in all just a so so movie for me.
With that in mind this film looked interesting but to my surprise was actually really really good. Great script really sharp and funny and lots of bit I can relate too eg electronic devices in toilets and the programme Lost.
Not too sure if this is still showing in your local theatre as I thought I left feedback a long time ago. But if it is showing I would highly recommend it .
You will be treated to a good night out .
Very enjoyable Pixar movie.
Dates pretty well and looks grand in 3D.
Daughter loved it as its really for her viewing and not mine.
Not my favoutite pixar film of all time, but the standard of story telling is first notch.
Well worth a trip to the cinema with the young ones.
3.5 stars to be exact.
I really enjoyed it just back from a snowy dark night.
I mean you know what you are going to get here.
I wouldn't say you have to see it in the cinema, but its a very enjoyable flick and I really enjoy the two main actors .
The story was most great with lots of interesting ideas for the economy we are in just don't get caught ;)
The trailor of this film really gave me low expectations.
To my surprise it was actually really enjoyable.
A great film from end to end.
With the kids on easter break now, with the weather we are having this would be a great day out.
Just throw in a bit of popcorn and some chocolate.
Sure why not
Mark Strong great actor really enjoyed him in this.
Film tried hard and was enjoyable don't get me wrong, worth a trip to your local cinema.
But like many films out there at the moment I was just expecting a little bit more.
Thanks movies.ie guys again by the way.
Nicely shot except for the final parting screen too cheesy for me.
Wahlberg and Crowe were both as you would expect really good.
The story line was again good with some nice twists.
in my view this film would be a nice night out, it's no classic in saying that but most enjoyable all the same.
You are in for a treat, this is a great flick.
The time for me flew by, even though the running time is 157min.
Everyone knows the story but the way its told and shot are both first class, really worth a trip to your nearest cinema for me.
The best film by miles in the last 12 months for me to come out.
Quentin Tarantino is back to his very best.
I realise it is quite long at a good 2 hrs and 30 minutes, but after it was over I just wanted to watch it again. Something I never want to normally do. I really enjoyed the quite bloody action sequences through out the film really gripping and real. Check this out in your local cinema to get the full effect of this great picture.
A shame really I was so looking forward to this going back a good 8 months.
Visually its very good but the story line did not pull me in at all.
You just feel you have seen all this before.
If you want to watch a good crime story I suggest you get Boardwalk Empire while it went off the boil a little in season 3 it far better than many movies coming out in or around that time 1920's to 1940's
