A Good Day to Die Hard

I am a big Die Hard fan. Part 4 is only ok, but it could only get better, right? This kills the franchise for me. It's horribly directed, the script is embarrassing. Bruce Willis is not the John Mc Clane we all love. Fox have ruined truly ruined Die Hard by letting this pass. The plot itself, is quite confusing. The Chernobyl setting towards the end, is done without an ounce of taste. The last scene of the movie consists of the Mc Clane clan walking and talking, but we can't hear what they are saying because of some God awful sentimental music overplaying. It's obvious the producers realised whilst watching the final cut, that the script is so bad, they should cover it up with shit music and the audience would be happy with that? Unless they come up with a way to introduce time travel into into the franchise, I don't see the series coming back from this. ((Joke) Do not watch this movie if you would like to preserver the memory of the original Die Hard(s) for yourself.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

It's a nice fun movie. The 48 FPS is a mess. Some of it, exmaple being Gollum, looks great, the rest looks like an old comedy show. It really annoyed me, so maybe that kinda took it away from me. I would say it's only ok and about 30 minutes too long.

3 stars for being hilarious. Honestly, this is top stuff. The whole movie is weird. I can't believe it's so popular and mainstream. Besides the weird CGI throughout the movie, and it's everywhere, there's also the creepy (imprints) love thing between Jacob whos in his 20's and the baby/ 8 year old girl. It's whats weird that had me going. This is funny and brilliant for al the wrong reasons. If you are actually an actual proper fan of the series, I suggest therapy.

From the In Bruge gang, this is a fantastic follow up. Farrell maybe the headliner but he has nothing on screen compared to outstanding turns from the legend that is Christopher Walken, a crazy Sam Rockwell and good old Woody Harrellson. The plot is crazy, funny and paced very well. This film was a huge surprise for me. It's so likeable. So many laugh out loud moments. Everybody that saw it at the premiere, loved it. It's hilarious. Go see it.

Wasn't what I was expecting. Very well done. Peña and Gyllenhaal are great together. I love the style it was filmed too. I think we're gonna see a lot more David Ayer movies.

Brilliant on all levels. This is if not the best, one of the best Bond movies made.

Looper is fantastic. Like any time travel story, it has holes and flaws. But it's raw and imaginative. JGL is unbelievably great. It's also the first time in years Willis looks actually tough on screen. Great to see good fresh ideas at the movies.
