The 1989 movie is set to be made into a TV show 20 years after it originally became an cult classic.
The programme will feature all the original characters – including Ryder’s Veronica Sawyer, a popular girl who rebels against her clique of mean girls, all named Heather.
Screenwriter Mark Rizzo and Sex And The City writer Jenny Bicks are set to update the dark comedy, according to Daily Variety. »
